I have been painting for 28 years; designing and teaching for most of those.

I’ve had the opportunity to teach at the following conventions and venues:

- Heart of Ohio Tole (HOOT),
  Columbus, Ohio

- Society of Decorative Painters   (SDP),  various locations

- Creative Painting, Las Vegas,
  Nevada

Travel teaching has also taken me to many of the affiliated Chapters of the SDP, as well as five trips to Japan, where I taught in Tokyo, Osaka and Sapporo areas.

I received my Certification at the SDP, Chicago, Convention in 1985.

Especially enjoyable has been doing some interior design work, custom painted furniture, faux and some murals.

I’ve had the privilege of doing Christmas Ornaments for two White House Blue Room Trees, the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress, Washington D.C.

I have 3 sons, 5 grandchildren and my Westie dog named Muffin.
